Is that "Dr. Watson" any relation to the famous Dr. John H. Watson of 221B Baker Street fame who was wounded in the Battle of Maiwand in 1880?

PS, the verification word is "scrub" . . . rather appropriate for a doctor.

My dear fellow, Jeff,
Your singular deduction is none other than the same.
Well done,

Another company of Seaforths will be embarking from Victoria Station soon. It looks like the regiment could use a few replacements.

Colonel Archibald Sinclair is the regimental commander of the Seaforths.

Hope this works, Bill - I've enjoyed your Campaigns for a while, now, and look forward to many more. I've always liked your story telling, and scenic "effects". And thanks for enabling your blog to take the likes of me as doesn't much like Google cos it harvests so much private info... for what reason, one wonders? All the best, and I'll be back! Squibzy
